If you’ve ever wondered what the behind the scenes are like in a reality TV show, this episode might just answer some of those questions for you. Janet Arneau grew up in Charleston, then went to the University of Tennessee where she got her degree in textiles. After college she moved to Atlanta and bought a dress store. When she went to hire models for her dresses, she realized how expensive they were, so she began to model herself. This led to more modeling gigs and national commercials for the likes of Burger King, McDonald’s, and Ford, then seeing a career in modeling, Janet sold her store and ultimately moved to New York to work with Wilhelmina. Leaning into her hobby of stand up comedy she started her own production company called “What’s Your Problem?” Realizing her gift of telling stories about the unique things in life, Janet started What’s Your Problem? Productions and pitches reality tv shows to larger production companies and/or directly to a network. She has a number of shows in the works, but her current focus is a show called Road Kill Art. Such a fun episode to record – we hope you enjoy the show!
