As CEO of Gotcha, Sean Flood is on a mission to disrupt the car industry. Gotcha is an e-mobility company that offers three sustainable micro-transit products: customized dockless bike share, electric scooters and e-trikes. Not only has Gotcha built the bikes, they also built the app to go with it. Under Sean’s leadership, Gotcha is now all over the US in cities and universities, and was ranked #277 on Inc. magazine’s 2019 list of the 5000 fastest growing companies. But Sean is also not a stranger to hardships and challenges. Before founding Gotcha in 2009 with his now wife, Jacklyn, he was buying real estate and flipping homes. Like many, the recession hit him hard. Necessity, they say, is the mother of all invention, and needing a new career and source of income, Gotcha was born. Sean is one of those guys who immediately disarms you with his confident humility, intelligence, graciousness, and deep care for his team. We walked away from this interview wishing more business owners were like him. We hope you enjoy this episode.
