Charleston native, Pauline Nakios, founded Lilla P, her apparel company, 20 years ago. She grew up in retail as a member of the well-known Sokol family who opened the iconic Morris Sokol store on King Street in downtown Charleston, so it was only natural that she would return to her retail roots and name her company after her beloved grandmother, Lilla. She originally started the company to create the “perfect tee” (which she did), but her company has evolved into a global lifestyle brand, sold at specialty retailers around the world. Lilla P is understated luxury for every day — a collection of mix, match and layer wardrobe staples that take the stress out of getting dressed. Its styling is timeless and its fit is impeccable. What a privilege to get time with this dynamic leader. We hope you enjoy this episode!
